I’m headed out of town again, so no photos until monday.

Randa at the research farm Tuesday.

It’s been a while but I’ve had the urge lately to set up a darkroom and get back to the roots. In 2001 I was more than a little inspired by the likes of Wynn Bullock when I found this scene.

I was convinced when shooting this image in the 90 plus spring heat of 2004, that I was witnessing the birth of a new fade diet.

An amazing lady. One of the my last oportunities to spend time with her, 2002 I believe.

A woman in a wheelchair in the penguin room outside of Chicago in 2003.
sorry for the delay this weekend I was away and didn’t have the forethought to upload images prior to leaving.

I apologize for this aside but I’m too excited about my new toy. After nearly two months of building my Schwinn Chicago Supersport is finally ready to ride. I thought the occasion called for a studio portrait, after all it’s not everyday we get to welcome a new bike into our home though I admit it has been fairly often lately.

The banks of the Santa Ana after sunset in the spring of 2004.

The Santa Ana River like the Los Angeles River is little more than a ditch but if you pay close attention you will notice the river fighting hard against it’s man made boundary.
