barrack obama in State College

A lot of people showed up Sunday, they estimated 22K.

Maybe I’ll show you his face next. In my mind the best political portraits never include the face or even the person at all, those are really the best! And you question my ability to turn a profit? With genius like that!

barrack obama in State College

So I got some good snaps today this is by far my favorite. I may post a few more too. I don’t think I got any really good ones of Bill Clinton last Thursday but I’ll double check. I’m looking forward to Ron Paul’s visit as well, but that’s not for a while. I’ve still got March to finish.

whistle blower

Some images are best left without captions.

Talking to R tonight about this blog. She suggested that I might share more stories, perhaps work on my writing as well as possibly gaining in viewers. I’ve always shied away from this model instead going self-serving and obtuse with posts. Every time I write about my thoughts on life and photography I end up editing it for 3 hours until I finally cut edit it out. Boring and trite words never seem to go with the image. But what does?

brian and tigger 2

Brian struggles with Tigger as she sits in the milking parlor. Having finally made the step up to her station, Brian told me later, he thought he would have to let her through the gate and start from square one.

crazy kids

Ann and Kim Seeley kiss as Brian sits at Elk Creek Cafe’s Bar. Farmers from around the area came in for the night to celebrate Tim Bowser’s 50th birthday with local food, beer and live blues. Kim Seeley is a grass fed dairy farmer himself, as well as a bit of a local foods leader in Pa as acting president of PASA.
